Waders

Hi.

10 Dunlin & 2 Ringed Plover on the beach this evening.

Phil Ouless

Thank you for the report Phil.
There is a lot of activity on the beach at the moment  with the holiday makers and their dogs. Not ideal for birdwatching.  This Blog runs down during the summer months as not much is reported. The well off are away on holidays and the really well off are chasing Butterflies...that only leaves me to chase bird shadows.

  1. Not too many really well off about, unless you're counting me and Roger!? You are of course welcome to join us on our trips out after the butterflies at any time, if you aren't too busy on-line!! Andy

  2. Blow me if I didn't go and look for small waders at Par last evening (Thurs,14th). Not ONE, thought they should be here, mind you tide was in, that's my excuse !

Just remembered, although no waders (14th), I did see 2, if not 4, Sandwich Terns at western end of Bay (Charlestown). Summering, or early returns?
