Spit and Par

Spit : 5 x G B Backed on the driers with 4 x L B Backed, Shelduck and 7 Wigeon in Par Harbour, 1 x Female Eider on the rocks with 2 x Grey Plover and 3 x Purple Sandpiper just round the corner towards Carlyon Bay also on the rocks below.Par Beach Pool : 1 x Little Grebe, 5 x Chiffchaff, 3 Gadwall (2 m + 1f), and the pair of Scaup in late afternoon. Must be coming in to clean after being in salt water. Also the Bittern was seen and reported mid-day. Bar-headed and Barnacle Goose also present.

Missed the clan today. The Purple Sandpiper I would have liked to have seen.
