Marsh Fritillary's at Ninestones


Marsh Fritillary. ......Eurodryas aurinia.
Although I was pleased enough with the image I do realise that the somewhat cluttered backdrop draws the eyes away from the main subjects.

    This is a very good photo! Karma Sutra position no:48 possibly?? I love the blue flowers of Germander Speedwell below the mating subjects too!

    All the credit should go to John Nicholls who found them and was kind enough to show us.
    I was happy enough with my photograph..but Steve Rogers showed us how a professional operates and his resulting images are a must for all the purists out there.

    You could well be right ..but I am only up to no:27 and running out of time ;-)
