Little Egret

Little Egret ...................Egretta garzetta
The Little Egret and the Bar-headed Goose were both photographed at Par Beach Pool (PBP) at an earlier date.
The Goose I suspect is the same one that Roger Lane saw yesterday evening. The Little Egret may be the same one ..it is very difficult to say.

    ...a beautiful bird. I would like to see one of these fellows. He looks to be about the same size as our Snowy Egrets...maybe! :-)

    Hi Bob.

    Yes it was a close up. Generally the Egrets are at the back of the Pool in the reed beds (too far out for my lens)but this one was right at the poolside.

    I would also like to see a Snowy Egret. They probably are around the same size.
