    Nice to see you are really getting into your patch. I remember many years ago when i started watching my local patch even the most common of species seen for the first time on the patch was exciting. Grass roots nature watching...

    Yes I absolutely agree with you. The patch ticks yesterday totalled twelve It was one of the most enjoyable evening I have spent for a long while. Even the Starling on the rooftop which I thought was a Blackbird gave me the buzz factor.
