Dipper with the *Goggles On*


Thanks to John Rance for supplying the technical details about the white eyes and also using the goggles on expression. Very apt.

    Excellent shot Trevor, at the moment he blinked ! In all my years of dipper watching, I have oftimes seen one white eye (side-view i.e. they've been winking at me ), but never seen both membranes down together (front-view), which it must do every time of course. Still one of my favourite birds !
