Songster

Linnet ....Carduelis cannabina
There are quite a few Linnets around the gorse area of Par.
A flock was also seen landing on the beach recently.

  1. Hi Trevor, why have you been photographing the beautiful birds that do not come around us, especially in winter.

  2. Hi Bob.

Most days I can find some bird or other perched on the gorse or teasel...usually it is the Stonechat..but the Goldfinches and Robins also show. Chaffinchs and Greenfinches seem to be high up or out of sight at the moment. I am still waiting for a Redwing and Fieldfare for patch ticks.
