Juvenile Kestrel


Kestel.......Falco tinnunculas
My first decent Bird of Prey photograph.
Thankfully stayed around long enough for me to get the equipment out of the car and photograph him.
I am really pleased with this as I did not bother with the Golden Eagle because I believed (and still do) that it was too far out of range for my lens.

  3. Yes you are right....but this juvenile had not quite learnt his lesson and was most obliging.
    I was pleased because Angie beats me hands down with her Bird of Prey shots and so I do not publish mine which for most parts are rubbish anyway.
