Spit Beach

I decided to have a look at Spit Beach Par yesterday afternoon .
To reach the beach you go under a tunnel and walk alongside Imery' for an estimated distance of four hundred yards, passing a lovely golf course on the right before reaching the sandy beach.
There was only a handful of people taking advantage of the glorious weather on the peaceful escape.
It was only a quick reconnaissance to get a working knowledge of all the corners of the Baywatch patch and it served its purpose well.
Unfortunately the only bird life on view was three Cormorants fishing from a small rock, one was in the classical outstretched wings pose drying off. No photographic record of this today as I had left the main camera behind and it was too far out for the compact.
