Report. Roger Lane.

South of Bethel this afternoon I was watching 2 Swifts feeding overhead, (thinking it would be pleasant if a Hobby came along !) when an adult PEREGRINE FALCON flew rapidly from east to west, completely ignoring the Swifts,. Probable one of pairs at the Gribben or Black Head, flanking the promintories of St.Austell Bay.

Thank you for the report Roger. We  seem to have a large collection of large birds visiting the garden this year. The once shy Magpies are daily visitors along with Crows (first year on the feeders) Jays, Woodpigeons and Collared Doves. A Tawny Owl was also in the trees at the back of the garden.
