PBP.
Redwings x 7 on grass close to the Royal Massala Restaurant.
Bewick's Swan is still on the Pool...which was rather quiet at 0930 hrs.
No sign of the Ring-Billed Gull.
The Bay and Shoreline..
The waves were high and I could not pick anything out except the Herring and B.H Gulls.
A couple of Oystercatchers were searching the tide line and Turnstones x 3 were by the River along with a pair of Pied Wagtails.
No sign of the Goosanders reported yesterday on the River.
St Andrews Pool.
4x large Mallard Hybrids close together on the Pool.
1 x Water Rail
2 x Wren
1x Marsh Tit
2x Coal Tit
4 x Blue Tit
1 x Long-tailed Tit
2 x Robin
1 x Siskin
2x Dunnock
2x Goldfinch
Chaffinches & Corvids
All at the *Cafe* or close by in the swamp and trees.
Manoa Valley.
2x Dipper
1x Firecrest
3x Goldcrest
1x Grey Heron ...resting in the woods some distance from the nearest water.
1x Buzzard
Finally a male Hen Harrier (thanks to D.Julian and Colin Selway) was seen at Rosenannon Downs ....which is out of bounds. The Hen Harrier was my 200th bird on my Life List.
